Miki Kojima Japanese I had a precious time in ECA This was the first time for me to study English in a foreign country. I felt nervous at the beginning but I could settle in to the new environment immediately because all of the teachers were very kind to us, they taught us not only English but also practical information. For example, restaurants with good food and reasonable prices, events of interest in Adelaide etc They also responded to my questions pleasantly. Fortunately, some of them could speak Japanese, it relieved me of my worry about communication with them. As for class, I belonged to the Intermediate at the beginning, then I changed to Upper Intermediate, half way, I could study English at my own pace and both sets of classmates were very friendly. I could know about their countries. Everything was a valuable experience for me. Thank you ECA

Mohammad Daghestany Jordanian I have recently completed my certificate I, EDE at the English College of Adelaide. I have found this a great educational experience which helped me improve my English reading, speaking and writing skills. My vocabulary and ability to express myself in the English language has broadened a great deal. I appreciate the hard work and efforts of all the teaching staff and thank them all for all their support. I have also made some good friends and wish them all well in their future studies and work. I would recommend this course to any new comers to the English language as it is a great starting point. Thank you again to all ECA staff.

Pannee Srisittiprapa Thai Thanks ECA for giving me new experiences. I learnt a lot of things from the teachers, it was not only in books but you taught me how to live in a different country. Before I couldn't imagine how I could stay in a foreign country where there aren't people I know. The first time I came to class, I was really nervous and I couldn't understand what the teacher was saying so I felt that my English wasn't very good. But, now my English is better and better because of ECA. I have many friends from different countries. They are very friendly. I'm really surprised that every teacher at ECA can understand what students from many countries say even though everyone spoke English with their different accents. You are very smart so made us smart too. Thank you very much.

Muttana Yodarcha (Koy) Thai I'm 26 years old, product designer. I was worried about my listening so I wasn't sure if I'd understand what the teachers were saying. The first day I started at ECA, I was in a bit of a panic but after about 2 or 3 days, I had adapted. After that, I found it wasn't as hard as I'd expected. All of the teachers are very good and kind. They have a passion for teaching and try hard to help you understand, speak slowly, write down stuff on the board, give you many sheets and books so we could understand easily. Learning English in a country in which everyone is speaking English is very different from studying in your own country. The condition and atmosphere makes you learn all the time. What's more, you'll have many foreign friends who come from different countries, that's a good experience.

Tomokazu Kazama Japanese I have lived in Australia for about 10 months but I couldn't speak English confidently. I was working in a meat works while in Australia and wanted to improve my English skills, I especially wanted to improve my speaking. This was my first time to got to a language school. I chose ECA because my friends had recommended it to me. ECA has good teachers (kind and courteous). I'm very shy but I could try to speak English more comfortably here. Thanks to the good teachers and good classmates, I could improve my English.

Yumiko ABE Japanese When I came to ECA I couldn't understand English. However, ECA teachers explained things in a kindly way and answered all of my questions happily. (Of course about English but also about travel, food, events all kinds of information.) They are very kind and interesting. I was also helped by my classmates. I could make a lot of friends with people from lots of other countries so I could learn a lot about different cultures. It was a precious experience. I had a wonder time with them and I'll never forget the time I spent here. I was very happy studying at ECA, Thank you very much.

Eunhye Park (Cindy) Korean First of all, thanks for everything. I had a great time in ECA. Before I came to ECA, I didn't know how to speak or write English so I felt very nervous and worried about being involved in the class but every teacher at ECA helped me adapt and encouraged me to study. I'm sincerely thankful that I could concentrate on studying. I learned not only English but also different aspects of other cultures from other students from diverse nationalities. I appreciated the teacher's patience, tolerance and enthusiasm when teaching us. I felt very comfortable studying here as if it were my home. I had such a priceless time with you in ECA. Jake Korean When I got to Adelaide, I actually hesitated about what I would do. I decided to improve my English skills before finding work. I realised it was alright to invest time for me. What I have done is enjoy talking, playing and studying English. It made me feel like I was gradually improving myself. It was a great experience to meet good friends who came from various nations. I want to keep in touch with them and the teachers for a long time! Whilst I studied at ECA I not only improved my English but also achieved many other things. I will never be able to forget it.
