When I came to Adelaide, my English was terrible. I could not understand what my host mother said to me and it was so difficult for me to have a conversation with Australians. It seemed to be impossible for me to understand English and have fun with Australians. However, my English improved a lot because of the teacher’s hard work and of course up until now I have studied English very hard. Now I can talk to Australians with confidence. Although I managed to be able to speak everyday English, I still need to improve. So it’s not too difficult to brush up on my English. From next week I’m going to do volunteer work at RAH which the principal of ECA recommended to me. My study in Adelaide became a wonderful experience thanks to ECA, I really appreciate it.
